+ Analyze workflows, space utilization, and production flow to improve efficiency and key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Plan and manage quality and process improvement projects, including defining scope, setting timelines, tracking deliverables, and reporting progress to leadership.
+ Drive cross-functional quality and automation initiatives in collaboration with engineering, production, and other internal teams.
+ Prepare, present, and communicate reports on quality performance, project status, and improvement results to stakeholders and leadership.
+ Maintain, update, and improve controlled documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), change controls, and quality records.
+ Lead or participate in quality reviews, internal audits, and management discussions to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
+ Apply structured problem-solving tools such as PDCA, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and root cause failure analysis to reduce scrap and COPQ.
+ Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean manufacturing principles, including SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
+ Contribute to the development and enhancement of quality systems in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an Associate's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of quality engineering experience.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing engineering environment.
+ Hands-on quality engineering experience, including process quality and continuous improvement activities.
+ Proficiency in root cause analysis methods such as PDCA, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and root cause failure analysis.
+
Experience with quality systems and documentation, including CAPA, SOPs, change control, and quality records.
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and requirements.
+ Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
+ Ability to analyze processes and improve quality metrics, including efficiency, COPQ, and production flow.
+
Experience with scrap reduction and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
+ Strong communication skills to prepare, present, and explain quality performance and project results to leadership and cross-functional teams.
