Inventory Control Tech

Overview

The Inventory Control Tech supports production by accurately pulling, staging, and putting away materials in accordance with production schedules and standard work. This position ensures materials are available at the right time and location to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations at THK Manufacturing of America (TMA).

Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

• Pull and stage materials for production based on work orders and production schedules.
• Perform put-away of raw materials and finished goods to assigned locations following standard work.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored in designated locations.
• Support basic inventory accuracy by following scan, transaction, and location procedures.
• Perform visual checks of stock locations and report discrepancies to inventory or supervision.
• Assist with material movement between departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S/3T standards.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as required.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn material flow, locations, and standard work within a 3-month orientation period.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

High School Diploma/GED

• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus).
• Basic computer or scanning system experience helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and 100+ lbs with assistance
  .
