Job Function
Entry‑level position for a person with good basic mechanical skills. Must be capable of learning and developing the necessary skills to perform the job adequately.
Essential Functions- Performs PM inspections.
- Performs Post Trip inspections.
- General repairs such as clutch and brake adjustments, lights and electrical repairs, and tire placement with supervision.
- May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment under mentorship.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- High school education acceptable.
- Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.
- Equipment systems experience a plus.
- Must have effective oral and written communications, effective listening skills, and ability to interact with others.
- 0-3 years of diesel shop experience acceptable.
