3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine issues using tools, drawings, and diagnostic instruments.
• Safely remove, transport, and reinstall machine parts using hoists, forklifts, or dollies.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Operate machine tools and welding equipment to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
• Use measurement and inspection tools to ensure accuracy during repairs.
• Investigate root causes of equipment breakdowns and implement solutions to reduce recurrence.
• Recommend and support equipment upgrades and improvements to enhance performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Multi-craft certification
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Hands-on knowledge of automated machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with lockout/tagout, compressed air systems, and quality control procedures.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming a plus.
• Robotics and automation knowledge.
• Welding and machining experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Hebron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
