Position: HR Manager (m/f/d NL) & Grobbendonk (BE)

At ICL, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support two production sites in Heerlen (NL) and Grobbendonk (BE).

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping people strategies and driving business success on site level. If you enjoy combining strategic HR thinking with hands‑on execution in a dynamic industrial environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Heerlen, NL (6422 PD) and Grobbendonk, BE.

Your role

As HR Manager, you will be a key member of the Site Management Teams, partnering closely with business leaders to deliver both strategic and operational HR support.

The role reports to the HR Director and works in close collaboration with the HR Netherlands team. In addition, you will have an HR Officer reporting directly into you.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with Plant Managers and senior leaders on all HR topics
  • Drive change and organizational development initiatives
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from workforce planning to employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch and Belgian labor laws
  • Lead performance management, talent development, and succession planning
  • Act as the main HR contact for both sites (around 200–250 employees)
  • Collaborate with Works Councils and manage complex employee relations topics
About you

You are an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment and confidently engages with senior stakeholders.

You bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including strong site‑based HR responsibility
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments
  • Solid expertise in employee relations
  • Experience working with Works Councils
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law (Belgian labor law is a plus)
