Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a woodshop environment, assisting in the manufacturing of game call components. The Production Associate will assist with various woodshop and assembly tasks, including operating machinery, preparing materials, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and supporting production goals.

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do as a Production Associate Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, such as saws, sanders, routers, and other hand tools.

Cut, shape, and assemble wood materials for custom projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Assist in measuring, marking, and cutting wood pieces accurately according to specifications.

Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.

Help with the assembly of products, ensuring each piece meets quality standards.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Work closely with the production team to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met.

Assist with inventory management, including restocking materials and supplies as needed.

Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools, ensuring everything is in good working condition.

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and finished products.

Other duties as assigned by the Woodshop Manager or Production Manager.

The Preferred Candidate:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a woodshop or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines consistently.

Forklift certification or experience.

Experience with CNC machines or other advanced woodworking equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching during work.

Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.

Exposure to wood dust, fumes, and other work-related environmental factors.
