We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and engaging Guitar Instructor to teach our 4th and 5th-grade students! If you love music, enjoy working with young learners, and want to help kids build confidence through guitar, we would love to have you on our team.
This position is ideal for someone who brings great energy, values a supportive classroom environment, and wants a structured, low-prep teaching experience.
All curriculum and teaching materials are fully provided!
Teach engaging guitar lessons to 4th and 5th-grade students in a group setting.
Follow and deliver the provided curriculum with consistency and enthusiasm.
Create a positive, encouraging, and patient learning environment where students feel safe to try new things.
Maintain classroom management during instructional time.
Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled sessions.
Qualifications & RequirementsAge: Must be at least 18 years old.
Music
Experience:
Strong background in playing the guitar and prior experience teaching guitar (private lessons or group settings).
Child-Centric Focus: Must be exceptionally patient, kind, encouraging, and skilled at connecting with elementary-aged children.
Availability: Must be available consistently Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
.
Transportation: Must have a reliable, dependable method of transportation to and from the site.
Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check required for working with minors.
