Compensation: $25 per hour

What's a typical day as Maintenance Tech? You'll be:

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment such as extruders, conveyors, balers, and granulators.
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance according to established procedures to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failure.
• Assisting with equipment setup, calibration, and changeovers for various production runs.
• Documenting work performed, hours, and parts used through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Adhering strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and keeping a clean, safe work area.
• Identifying, ordering, and replacing defective parts such as belts, bearings, and motors.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within plastics or a manufacturing environment (must-have).
• Are proficient in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as reading blueprints and schematics, and using hand/power tools (must-have).
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures (must-have).
• Are flexible and available to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies (must-have).
