Position Overview
- Provide direct nursing care in a post-operative bariatric unit specializing in weight loss surgeries like Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and serve as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Follow physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning.
- Must hold a valid RN license or be eligible, with BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at the time of hire.
- Ability to coordinate patient care effectively and communicate clearly with team members.
- Multiple shifts available, including days and nights.
