OverviewThe Early Childhood and Family Support Division works with community providers across the state and is home to many early childhood and family support programs including but not limited to child care; serving children with developmental delays; supporting families through nutrition education and support, maternal child health, home visiting, and child abuse prevention efforts. ECFSD strives to assure that children, youth, and families are healthy and thriving.
Responsibilities- Develop and establish office management and administrative support systems, procedures, and services.
- Handle electronic, verbal, and written communications and correspondence.
- Manage data/records, forms, and templates.
- Maintain supply and equipment inventories.
- Coordinate events, travel arrangements, and support for meetings.

Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of office administration experience.
- Knowledge of office management practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of confidentiality procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency in proper business English, spelling, and grammar.
- Knowledge of effective customer service methods and techniques.
- Other combinations of directly related education/experience may be considered.

- Position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
- May be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
- Employee may be placed in a training assignment with pay below the base rate during the training period.
Salary: $22.72 - 22.72 per hour
