Ready to upgrade your career? Position Westaff is looking for a Reimbursement Admissions Clerk for a state department in Helena, MT!
Term: 3 + Months
Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
Pay
: $18.50/hour
- Reconcile monthly laboratory billing batches and resolve billing issues as they arise.
- Create spreadsheets documenting payments received and account adjustments applied to county ledgers.
- File claims and medical documentation in patient files.
- Retrieve old files for purging to be sent to storage warehouse.
- Document files and number boxes for records retention.
- Make new patient file folders and organize filing cabinets with new labels.
- Open daily mail and disperse mail to staff.
- Notify staff that the daily deposits have been completed and are ready for review.
- Assist billing staff with aged claims and county billing.
- Enter new admissions, movements, and discharges into billing system for new patients.
- Must be able to operate a personal computer and general office equipment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (ex. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiar with 10 key-calculator
