Heavy Civil Superintendent

We are seeking experienced construction professionals to join the Big Sky team on a major Heavy Civil infrastructure project. We are looking for an experienced project superintendent who thrive in challenging field environments and have a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Our projects include dams, water resource infrastructure, concrete structures, earthwork, excavation, grouting, utilities, and other large-scale heavy civil construction. Travel is a requirement.

• 5-10+ years of Heavy Civil construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Demonstrated experience managing field crews on projects exceeding $10 million.
• Strong background in one or more of the following:
• Dam rehabilitation
• Water and wastewater infrastructure
• Earthwork
• Drilled shafts, anchors, or grouting
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

• Lead all field operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and self-perform crews.
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules.
• Ensure work is performed safely and to specification.
• Coordinate equipment, labor, and materials.
• Participate in daily planning meetings.
• Work closely with project management and owners' representatives.
• Maintain production goals while ensuring quality standards are achieved.
