Summary of Job Duties
- Teach courses in developmental and college mathematics, following the departmental curriculum while maintaining a learner-centered approach to mathematics education;
- Maintain accurate student records;
- Participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff;
- Contribute to department and college efforts to enhance student success; and
- Perform other related responsibilities as required.
Master’s degree in mathematics from an accredited institution preferred. Prior teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting preferred. Experience integrating technology into instruction is required. The ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of classes and the ability to work and interact effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds is a plus.
