Summary ofJob Duties
Teach full compliment of courses according to ACTS and course catalog, including but not limited to Biological Sciences and/or Physical Sciences. Courses primarily will be delivered face‑to‑face, but will also include online options. Assist with recruiting and retention efforts as well as campus and college activities/projects/committees to further the mission of the college.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in biological science, physical science or closely related field preferred. Experience and ability to conduct coursework online, utilize course delivery platforms such as Blackboard, ability to conduct virtual/online labs as well and integrate technology into instruction to meet the needs of students from a variety of backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) or more years of teaching experience, preferably in a higher education setting. Experience with Blackboard, Workday and Zoom/Teams a plus. Ability to work in a team setting.
