Helena College, University of Montana, a comprehensive two-year college focused on student success, seeks qualified applicants for tutoring in the areas of math, chemistry, general biology, and human biology for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Tutoring Coordinator, provide one-on-one assistance to students with coursework, study strategies, and course-related technology. Tutoring is provided both in person and online.
- Work 4–15 hours weekly in the Library Learning Hub between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and/or Wednesday evenings.
- Participate in several hours of paid training meetings each semester.
- Minimum of two years of relevant college coursework completed with a B or better grade.
- A letter of recommendation.
- Ability to mentor in an educational setting with a diverse student population.
$14.00–$17.00 per hour, depending upon education.
