Substitute Para Educators; Teacher Assistants

Overview

Helena Public Schools is seeking Substitute Para Educators (Teacher Assistants) for all grade levels for the 26-27 school year. We are seeking caring professionals to provide assistance with classroom instruction and support students who may need extra help. You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena.

• Promote a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth in the absence of para educators (teacher assistants).
• Provide assistance for individual students and/or small groups based on lesson plans.
• May assist in the maintenance of appropriate student records.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with school aged children is preferred.

Substitute Para Educators (Teacher Assistants) enjoy a flexible schedule and preference of location and assignment. Opportunities for short and long term coverage! This positions are paid $14.85 per hour.
