As our Lead Infant Teacher, you'll create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom where infants can learn, explore, and reach important developmental milestones.
Your responsibilities include:- Lead daily classroom routines for infants and young toddlers
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Observe, document, and communicate children's progress
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Discovery Kidzone policies
- Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Partner with center leadership to provide exceptional early childhood education
- At least 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or early learning program
- Experience working with infants or toddlers preferred
- Leadership experience is a plus, but not required—we provide coaching and mentorship
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Dependable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
