Helena College University of Montana, a comprehensive two-year college focused on student success, seeks qualified applicants for tutoring
in the area of chemistry
, for the Fall 2026 semester.

Under the supervision of the Tutoring Coordinator, tutors provide one-on-one assistance to students with course work, study strategies, and course-related technology. Tutoring is provided both in person and online.

Tutors work 4-15 hours weekly in the Library Learning Hub between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and/or Wednesday evenings.

Tutors are expected to participate in several hours of paid training meetings each semester.

A minimum of two years of relevant college coursework completed with a B or better grade and a letter of recommendation are required. The ability to mentor in an educational setting with a diverse student population is expected.

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending upon education.
