First-Line Production Engineering Manager – Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Location:

Helena, Montana – 100% onsite. Shift: 1st shift. Non‑union.

Lead Industrial Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Tooling teams to manage production system improvements, maintain supplier relationships, and support key company priorities within a fabrication and manufacturing environment.

• Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the production system, including process engineering, manufacturing support, build plan development, and supplier technology introduction.
• Lead special projects supporting company priorities, such as stabilizing production efficiency, enabling rate increases, and integrating product and process changes.
• Oversee technical management of suppliers in the design, sourcing, and implementation of new or improved build processes across the production system value stream.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners to gather input on key projects and initiatives.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve individual and team performance goals.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non‑US qualifications directly related to the work.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.

• Experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• 3+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of Industrial Engineering experience.

• Pay range: $130,900 – $177,100
