The Senior Registered Private Wealth Client Associate enhances the client experience by delivering exceptional service, supporting branch operations, safeguarding client assets, and providing operational and administrative support to Wealth Advisors. This role is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong operational expertise who can lead junior associates, formalize processes, and support advisors with portfolio management, reporting, and client interactions.
The position exists within a fee-based advisory environment.
- Maintains client relationships by processing requests, resolving inquiries, and ensuring client documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Onboards new client accounts, including collecting required documentation and information.
- Supports Wealth Advisors with trade execution, including analyzing cash flows, DCA, and model reports where applicable.
- Conducts research and analysis of securities and model portfolios to inform investment decisions.
- Assists in the preparation and input of data for personalized financial plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Supports 401(k) plan administration, including creating educational materials and assisting with participant enrollment.
- Leads junior Client Service Associates, providing guidance, training, and oversight.
- Collaborates with Wealth Advisors to streamline processes and optimize operations.
- Identifies opportunities for peer sharing and leveraging firm resources to enhance client service.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management operations.
- Experience with major custodian - Pershing.
- Active Series 65 license.
- Strong operational focus; experience in either Wirehouse and/or RIA environments.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to document and improve processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Series SIE and/or Series 7.
- CFA designation or CFA candidate.
- Background in investment operations and portfolio analysis.
- Standard work hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Limited travel required.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Helena, MT.
