Position: Corporate Senior Auditor (Operations)

The Role

Summary This position reports to an Audit Manager and is responsible for executing the audit plan covering Glacier’s operational risks. The individual will lead audits in the Operations area with limited oversight.
Location Corporate position available at any bank division across AZ, CO, , MT, NV, TX, UT, WA or WY.
Compensation Entry level is $81,764.23 per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT). WA applicants: $89,059.78 to $ per year.

Responsibilities
  • Lead scheduled audits from start to finish with limited direction.
  • Track and validate issues to ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in continuous monitoring of the Operations area and/or division.
  • Prepare draft audit reports for manager review.
  • Conduct detailed process walkthroughs and document risks and controls.
  • Document clear audit work papers outlining purpose, scope, procedure, and conclusions.
  • Identify control gaps or deficiencies and assess impact.
  • Present audit findings to leadership and business management with manager support.
  • Maintain audit competency through ongoing professional development.
  • Stay current on emerging risks within Operations.
  • Execute additional duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Comply with all company policies and applicable laws, including BSAct, Patriot Act, OFAC.
  • Complete required online training and pass by the due date.
About You Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 4 years of audit or relevant banking experience; advanced ability to lead audits with limited oversight.
  • Preferred: 4 years of audit experience in the banking industry.
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience is considered valid.
License/Certification
  • Preferred:
    Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
