Corporate Mortgage Loan Review Specialist II

• Review, analyze, and process adverse action loans in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory policies.
• Ensure HMDA compliance for declined, withdrawn, and closed loans.
• Maintain loan quality by performing quality reviews.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, bank staff, and the Corporate Mortgage Loan Admin Manager and suggest operational improvements.
• Prepare and send Adverse Action Notices to applicants.
• Cancel services ordered on the loan such as appraisal, lock, title, and flood.
• Validate HMDA reporting information for adverse and closed loans.
• Request additional information or documentation as needed.
• Maintain consistent and thorough communication with all internal and external parties.
• Stay current on loan programs, federal and state regulations, and banking policies.
• Maintain contact with government agencies and investors regarding changes in requirements.
• Participate in educational offerings from FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, MI companies to stay up to date.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan review experience, including HMDA and Adverse Action.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan program guidelines and processes.
• Experience with loan quality review.
• Knowledge of RESPA and TRID compliant disclosures, HMDA reporting, and Adverse Action requirements.
• Experience with loan platform software such as Encompass.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, handle complex tasks efficiently, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control; compliance with all company policies and applicable laws.

• Occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) required; ability to use automobile, commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation.
• Work environment: indoor, climate‑controlled shared work area; moderate noise level; sedentary workstation.
