Responsibilities- Process and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and non-insurance benefits.
- Process and update employee data including direct deposit information.
- Post and maintain payroll ledgers, code expenses, and pay-related transactions such as adjustments and intra-government transfers.
- Compile, run, and verify payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Issue and record pay adjustments including leave corrections, retroactive increases, prior paycheck errors, settlement payouts, and final paychecks.
- Distribute off‑cycle paychecks to appropriate personnel, research discrepancies, and make necessary corrections to maintain payroll integrity.
- High School Diploma.

This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules. Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
