What is this career opportunity?The Grants Coordinator position provides program oversight, technical assistance, and monitoring of subgrants and program evaluation for federal and state grants. Monitoring requires travel across the state to visit subgrantee programs. Travel may also include annual, out of state, federally required training and/or conferences. The position does not supervise other staff.
This position, along with the Grant Program Team, is responsible for all grant management tasks. This includes applying for federal grants on behalf of MBCC, requesting grant changes and extensions, reviewing subgrantee applications, and being the subject matter expert on each grant assigned to them. Grant team members work closely with the Fiscal Services Section to ensure compliance with financial requirements of the grants.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
Two years of directly related work experience.
Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
The above knowledge, skills and abilities are usually acquired through a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or closely related field, and job-related work experience.
