RoleSpecifics and Benefits Responsibilities
As a Radiology Ultrasound Tech, you will perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, small parts, and specialty studies as assigned.
- Prep patients, explain procedures, and position them for comfort and optimal imaging.
- Acquire high‑quality digital images, perform Doppler and advanced vascular studies, and document findings in the PACS system.
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret images and communicate urgent findings promptly.
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage in patient education, infection control, and safety protocols, and contribute to protocol optimization.
