Are you a passionate mental health professional seeking a meaningful role in children's lives? Join our multidisciplinary treatment team as a School-Based Therapist at Helena Middle School and make a direct impact in a school setting. In this role, you'll provide therapeutic services to students and families, contribute to treatment planning, and support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic success through evidence-based interventions.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for school-aged children.
• Conduct clinical assessments, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
• Participate actively in treatment team, IEP, student care, and clinical meetings.
• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families.
• Address family dynamics and psychosocial, environmental, educational, and cultural factors impacting student well-being.
• Coordinate care and serve as liaison among students, families, schools, and community providers.
• Support students in crisis, including leading safety planning and utilizing de‑escalation and restraint protocols when necessary.
• Lead therapeutic summer programming, including experiential learning activities and field trips.

• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including paid Medical and vision, tuition reimbursement, student loan assistance, and a 6% employer paid 403B contribution. LCPC, LCSW, LMFT candidates starting at $74,200 annually. Provisionally licensed salary available upon request.

Education, training and experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Master’s degree program in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• 2 years of experience working with children who are emotionally disturbed is preferred.
  • Evidence of training and/or experience in individual, group, and family therapy is preferred.
• Must possess advanced skills in oral and written communication, as well as working knowledge of various theories, their implications, and human development.

Certification/licensure:

• Current candidate's license in the state of Montana (PCLC, SWLC, etc.)
• Eligible for licensure as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the State of Montana and actively working towards Montana licensure per the Board of Behavioral Health requirements.

$74,200 annually for licensed applicants
