Roles & Responsibilities Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and skilled treatment to maximize functional outcomes
Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record system
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention
Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and contribute to discharge planning
Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Qualifications Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Montana or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Excellent clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with an interdisciplinary staff
Previous outpatient or acute care PT experience preferred; motivated new graduates who meet licensure requirements are welcome
Education Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
Knowledge of manual therapy techniques and functional mobility training
Proficient documentation and outcome measurement to track patient progress
Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively and compassionately
Comfortable working independently in a travel/contract setting and adapting to new workflows
