Part-Time
Shift: Varied - Weekends and Some Holidays Required
Touchmark on Saddle Drive is seeking an energetic and compassionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll bring joy, purpose, and connection to residents living within our premier retirement community by creating and leading meaningful activities that nurture the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver programs that reflect residents’ interests, abilities, and life stories while promoting dignity and engagement every day.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and lead daily group and one-on-one programs that support the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual wellness of residents.
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with residents and families.
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in meaningful activities, adapting programs to meet individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design activities that align with each resident’s care plan and cognitive abilities.
- Coordinate special events, outings, and intergenerational programs that enhance quality of life.
- Maintain attendance records and document participation accurately.
- Support community-wide programs, events, and celebrations as part of the broader Life Enrichment team.
- Safely assist residents during outings, including operation of accessible transportation (training provided).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a social, recreational, or activities-based program—preferably in senior living, healthcare, or dementia care.
- Demonstrated passion for serving older adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of patience, empathy, and creativity.
- Ability to lead small and large groups with enthusiasm and confidence.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for planning and recordkeeping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist residents as needed.
