Radiology Tech (X Ray Tech) sought for a travel assignment in Helena, MT.
Start date:
10/25/2026. 13-week engagement with a weekly pay range of $2,242 to $2,320, 0.0 guaranteed hours, and a 12-hour night shift schedule (3x12 Nights). This is a hospital-based imaging role supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The position requires active MT licensure, ARRT-R certification, BLS, and the ability to work within an Epic environment.

- Perform radiographic procedures with proper technique, positioning, and radiation safety for a variety of exams.
- Operate fluoroscopy and support OR cases, including orthopedic and urologic imaging.
- Conduct exams such as Barium studies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, and assist with joint injections, following established protocols.
- Manage contrast-enhanced imaging, document findings, and ensure accurate patient data entry in the electronic medical record (Epic).
- Collaborate with radiology team across inpatient and outpatient settings; maintain equipment function and adhere to infection control standards.
- Adapt imaging workflow to a busy environment; ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Active Montana license (MT) required; may apply for license with proof of application; processing anticipated within 24-48 hours.
- BLS and ARRT-R certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Radiography experience.
- Epic experience required; able to document and retrieve imaging data efficiently.
- Must be capable of performing tests in the OR, with ample experience in fluoroscopy, Barium Studies, LP, myelograms, and joint injections.
- Inpatient and outpatient imaging experience; 70-mile radius travel constraint applies; RTO or schedule requests must be submitted with the application.
- Travel assignment in a hospital imaging department
