About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced OH (HR) Generalist with strong experience in the talent, recruitment and workforce field to join our Organizational Health (HR) team.
The OH Generalist – Talent & Workforce role plays a vital role in bringing our people-centric talent and workforce philosophy to life. By partnering with hiring leaders to attract, select, and onboard exceptional talent, this role helps ensure our workforce is equipped, engaged and aligned with our mission to serve Montanans across the state. Leading a thoughtful, relationship-driven talent acquisition strategy, this role helps build a with high-performing organization were employees feel connected, supported and empowered to do meaningful work for employers and injured workers across the state.
Reporting to the OH Manager, this is a true OH (HR) generalist position, with a primary focus on Talent & Workforce recruitment and support of our People Relations & Process function, while contributing and maintaining working knowledge across all areas of Organizational Health (HR).
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced OH (HR) Generalist with strong experience in the talent and recruitment field to join our Organizational Health (HR) team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships and thrives in full-cycle recruitment; from strategy and sourcing through onboarding and early employee experience. Serving as a trusted partner, to both leaders and employees, this role will also support people relations by fostering a positive, respectful and high-performing work environment.

Required SkillsWhat you will do:
Talent & Workforce (Primary Focus): Lead and support all talent acquisition and onboarding efforts including recruitment and selection. Conduct job classification and analysis to ensure alignment with organizational needs. Partner with executive staff and stakeholders in building the talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs. Embed strong talent practices that ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experience.
People & Process: Lead and support people related issues and processes, serving as a trusted advisor on complex and sensitive people matters. Serve as a subject matter expert on company policies and procedures, including regular policy review, ensuring consistent, culturally aligned, and legally compliant application. Provide leader and employee coaching related to performance concerns, expectations, and accountability, supporting leaders in navigating difficult conversations and addressing performance issues.
