• Work directly with business program managers and Legislative Branch staff to analyze and understand business operations and processes.
• Develop business case justifications for technology advances and expenditures based on that understanding.
• Oversee the analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance of medium- and large-scale information systems.
• Manage and/or participate in IT projects, and coordinate training to improve technical competence of staff.
• Collaborate with the Operations Services Manager to ensure technology change recommendations fit the existing or planned IT infrastructure.
• Assist Information Services staff in resolving functional users’ technical support needs.
• Report to the Operations Services Manager and exercise team lead supervision for projects undertaken.
• Work in a non‑partisan position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 6 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
• Project Management Professional (or equivalent) certification preferred.

Telework eligible on a hybrid basis; employee must reside in the Helena area and be able to come into the office on a routine basis. Full‑time telework is not available; schedule must be supervisor approved.
