Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a Control Systems Laborer to support their Asphalt Control System upgrade projects. This role focuses on removing outdated control systems and installing upgraded components in industrial environments. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on experience with control wiring, basic industrial electrical work, and the ability to travel to project sites. This is a hands‑on, mechanical/electrical role supporting their commitment to precision, reliability, and high‑quality system replacements for our asphalt plant partners.
Day-to-DayExpectations
- Physical work involving lifting and movement of equipment
- Removal and replacement of control cabinets and wiring
- Working in industrial plant environments safely
- Accurate wire labeling and termination
- Supporting upgrade tasks as directed by senior Vol Tech staff

- 2+ years of experience in:
- Control systems Industrial electrical controls
- Control wiring in an industrial plant environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to travel to job sites in Arkansas
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs
- Ability to crouch, kneel, and work at counter top-height control cabinets
- Certificate in Electrical Technology
- Prior experience with control panel components
- Familiarity with industrial safety practices
