AgCorps members with a focus on education are generally serving in k-12 schools or non-profits with a strong emphasis on agricultural education. There is also the possibility of assisting with Ag-focused summer camps and events. Most members are utilizing a Farm to School, Ag in the Classroom, or Harvest of the Month curriculum. Specific position duties vary depending on host site location.

- Implement local food promotional projects
- Collaborate with partners to review and update shared resources
- Create educational and outreach materials
- Conduct monitoring for grants
- Conduct trainings and events on mapping systems
- Create story and project maps for noxious weeds
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, & outreach needs
- Potential conference support
- Work collaboratively with botanists to develop and refine the position, roles, and processes
- Conduct volunteer outreach and manage volunteer data
- Ability to speak in public settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of multiple computer applications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Interest in plants, invasive species, bees, agritourism
- Attendance to mandatory trainings and participation in evaluation and reporting is a requirement
