Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner for our facility in Helena, MT. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients, managing and coordinating chronic care management, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. Daily tasks include collaborating with the healthcare team, prescribing medications when necessary, offering guidance on pain and symptom management, and providing emotional support to patients and their caregivers.

Qualifications

  • Clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and care planning
  • Experience in pain and symptom management and palliative or hospice care
  • Proficiency in patient and family education, as well as compassion and empathy in delivering care
  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with current and unencumbered certification
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of hospice and palliative care protocols is advantageous
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and care coordination
  • Commitment to upholding patient dignity and quality of life
