Description
Up to $30,000 in student loan repayment! We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly motivated Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Psychiatric care team. Working under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act, the RN plays a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care to children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral health challenges.
This role combines direct patient care with leadership in assessment, coordination, delegation, and quality improvement.

Crisis prevention and intervention, milieu management. - Physical interventions:
Must be able to successfully perform physical holds, movements and carries. - Blocking and redirecting patient movements against the patient’s weight.
- Physical interventions in response to aggressive and self-injurious behavior.
- Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene in situations when protective holds and/or movements are deemed necessary.
- Physically able to perform various movements including pivoting, knee squats, shuffling forward and backward, carrying a person, assisting a person to the floor, stabilizing people in standing, seated, prone and supine positions.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents.

- Required education and experience – Must be a graduate of an RN nursing program. Must have and maintain CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills certification within three months of hire.
- Preferred education and experience – Preferred minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in psychiatric or pediatric nursing.
$46.00/hr after training
