Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post‑partum, Nursery (LDRPN)
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputable hospital in Helena, MT and we are seeking a dedicated RN, passionate about delivering exceptional care in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment. The LDRPN Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patients and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, holistic nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to assess patient and family needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based care with strong clinical judgment
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Foster a supportive, family‑centered experience for every patient
- Uphold St. Peter’s Behavioral Standards through professionalism, accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
- Provide care for:
- Laboring and antepartum patients
- Postpartum couplet care
- Cesarean section circulating responsibilities (within 6 months of hire)
- Provide care for:
- Neonatal patients
- Postpartum couplet care
- Pediatric patients
- Experience:
1–2 years as an OB Registered Nurse (preferred) - Education:
Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing - Licenses &
Certifications:
Current Montana Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required - OB Track: NRP, ACLS, and STABLE certification required within 12 months of hire;
Basic fetal monitoring at 6 months, intermediate fetal monitoring at 1 year, and intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring every 2 years thereafter - Pediatric Track: NRP and STABLE certification required within 12 months of hire; PALS certification required
- After two years of experience, the following certifications are strongly encouraged:
- OB Track:
Inpatient OB Certification, Lactation Certification, and optional Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - Pediatric Track:
Pediatric Certification and Lactation Certification
- OB Track:
