Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post‑partum, Nursery (LDRPN)

The LDRPN Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patients and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.

What

You’ll Do
  • Provide compassionate, holistic nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to assess patient and family needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
  • Deliver safe, evidence‑based care with strong clinical judgment
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Foster a supportive, family‑centered experience for every patient
  • Uphold St. Peter’s Behavioral Standards through professionalism, accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
Available Care TracksOB Track
  • Provide care for:
    • Laboring and antepartum patients
    • Postpartum couplet care
    • Cesarean section circulating responsibilities (within 6 months of hire)
Pediatric Track
  • Provide care for:
    • Neonatal patients
    • Postpartum couplet care
    • Pediatric patients
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience:

    1–2 years as an OB Registered Nurse (preferred)
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
  • Licenses &

    Certifications:

    Current Montana Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required
  • OB Track: NRP, ACLS, and STABLE certification required within 12 months of hire;
    Basic fetal monitoring at 6 months, intermediate fetal monitoring at 1 year, and intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring every 2 years thereafter
  • Pediatric Track: NRP and STABLE certification required within 12 months of hire; PALS certification required

    • OB Track:
      Inpatient OB Certification, Lactation Certification, and optional Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
    • Pediatric Track:
      Pediatric Certification and Lactation Certification
