Travel Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Role & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Med‑Surg unit, conducting comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and delivering pre- and post-operative care. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care, educate patients and families about conditions and treatments, document all interventions accurately, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. May also mentor junior staff and nursing students, serving as a resource for clinical decision‑making.

Valid RN license, BLS certification, competency in Med‑Surg nursing, strong patient assessment, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills. Ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
