Job Title
Major Duties:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Execute position responsibilities to improve patient and organizational outcomes.
- Execute their position duties by providing patient-centered and recovery-oriented care and maintain self-awareness while caring for patients living with substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions.
- Facilitate shift reports, warm hand-offs, and develop content as well as facilitate nurse-led psycho educational groups.
- Use therapeutic communication techniques, practice de-escalation techniques, utilize recovery-oriented language, and provide oversight of the patient safe medication management program.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with and lead mental health interdisciplinary teams and work collaboratively with others as well as independently.
- Promote critical thinking, participate in patient safety and environment of care rounds, direct team response to psychiatric and medical care needs and emergencies, report safety concerns, and assist and/or direct safety concern resolution.
- Document nursing assessments, risk screens, measurement-based care tools, nursing plan of care, patient safety rounds, and environment of care rounds according to facility policy.
- Maintain professional boundaries to protect patient vulnerabilities and act in the best interest of the patient.
- Provide peers with formal and informal constructive feedback for improvement.
- Support colleagues and other nurses through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality nursing care.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of health care professionals.

Pay:
