Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient Nurse
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient or ambulatory setting, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Leads and supervises nursing staff while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status by collecting relevant clinical data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, wellness, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure positive outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings preferred.
- Hold current BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills.
