Position:
Account Manager (Sales and design services)
Our flooring sales associates/customer service team members guide the customer journey from inquiry to installation. We’re looking for customer enthusiasts who can help home and business owners navigate a major remodeling investment. While you will certainly be expected to soak up product knowledge, your most important trait is the ability to bond with prospective customers. You’re the kind of person that customers naturally like and trust.

Additionally we are looking for someone who can wow us with their innate design sense!
As such, you should be equally comfortable greeting customers in the showroom and promoting our store through your professional and personal networks. While you place a premium on the customer experience, you also don’t hesitate to close when the time is right. You have the conviction to do what’s right for your customers by helping them acquire the flooring of their dreams!

Since most of our products are installed, you should also care deeply about the beauty and quality of a job done right.

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Help customers with decorating, design, and selection of flooring.
• Assist fellow team members with design expertise.
• Sell flooring and floor care products.
• Sell entire project based products across all Finstad's offerings.
• Manage sales process from start to finish.
• Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert.
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of floors we offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each.
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom.

• 3+ experience in the flooring industry
• Willingness to work with team members
• Able to provide outstanding customer service
• Able to provide exceptional follow-up
• Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training in order to become certified flooring and design expert
• A self-starter
• Well-organized
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Willing to create new business
• A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design
• Some college is preferred, but not necessary
• Open and flexible work availability, including weekends
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems

Base compensation + commission = Target total compensation year one: $55,000 - $85,000
