Kolar Tire and Auto-Three Forks seeks a dedicated and reliable OTR Tire Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. As an OTR Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and OTR tires, including those used in construction and other heavy‑duty industries. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced technician who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced work environment and is committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OTR tire maintenance and repair.
  • Relevant certifications (such as TIA) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy tires (up to 100 lbs), work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.
  • Proficient in the use of tire‑changing equipment and hand tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mount, dismount, and repair commercial and OTR tires of various sizes and types.
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and identify tire issues, including cuts, punctures, and bead damage.
  • Follow all company and industry safety standards, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Familiar with one‑piece, three‑piece, and five‑piece wheels.
  • Familiar with loaders, scrapers, blades, and all construction equipment.
  • Provide high‑quality customer service by addressing client needs and offering tire maintenance advice.
  • Perform duties both in‑shop and at various off‑site locations, including construction sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory levels.
