Job Summary:
A certified Water/Wastewater operator who will work with the leadership of County Water & Sewer Districts, HOA’s, Municipalities, etc. to support the operation of multiple water and wastewater systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Effective/efficient communication with clients, management, administration, and salespeople; proactively identifying, examining, and solving problems before and as they arise
Understand and interact with the leadership of common utility governance and operational structures – HOA, Municipalities, County Water & Sewer Districts, etc.
Submit the necessary reports to the state’s governing body of Water and Wastewater Maintain and execute the schedule for system operations such as sampling, reports, etc.
Advise owners, boards, engineers, and others on all aspects of water and wastewater system operations and management including budgeting, rate setting, operations, maintenance, systems, software, etc.
Understand customer requirements by in-depth investigation of each scope of work; procuring the equipment and parts necessary; complete troubleshooting and testing of work performed daily
Identify and suggest solutions to customers and supervisors for improved methods, techniques, and equipment of systems
Ensure all safety procedures are followed on every job site, every day Maintain company equipment in proper operating condition by following operating instructions; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and enforce proper operation by fellow employees
Support the Service Manager’s role in ensuring all documentation is completed, collected, and submitted to appropriate parties in a timely fashion
Participating in educational opportunities to increase knowledge/expertise/experience/relationships; read professional publications
All other job duties and responsibilities as determined/assigned by management
Work Schedule and Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly wage position. Regular performance reviews will be provided and strong performance will result in pay increases.
Schedule details to be determined and subject to periodic changes.

Schedule:
10-hour shift
Qualifications:
Currently have and maintain multiple valid fully Certified Operator Certifications in Water or Wastewater in MT, ND, WY, , CO and/or UT. Wastewater 1C and Water 1A and 1B are preferred.
Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and unrestricted driver’s license w/ acceptable MVRDemonstrated mastery of company systems and processes
Work Environment:
Outside and exposed to the elements 60+% of the time Dirty, wet and/or dusty environments including wastewater plants
Long drive times in all types of weather, with potential for multiple-day trips and extended standby time
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to use general business software (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) and hardware (smartphone/tablet, notebook computer, scanner, etc.).Small to Medium water and sewer utility systems knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and equipment maintenance experience required.
Required to have a Wastewater C-1 (preferred), or a Potable Water System 4AB license
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and unrestricted driver’s license w/ acceptable MVR is required.
