Job Description - Diesel Mechanic Assistant

As a Diesel Mechanic assistant at Big Sky Trucking, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our diesel-powered trucks. Your knowledge and expertise in diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems will be crucial in ensuring that our trucks operate safely and reliably on the road.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience or enrolled in school to be a Diesel Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Complete major repair jobs in a timely and efficient manner
