Inventory Specialist
As an Inventory Specialist at Power Drive Supply, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our equipment business. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to efficiently managing inventory. Your efforts will support a commitment to our core values, while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Tracking:
Assign a unique inventory r to each item and tie it to the work order/system record for tracking; from intake through repairs to sale.
- Inventory Capture:
Capture clear, professional photos (multiple angles, details, condition shots) of every incoming piece of equipment.
- Organization:
Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe: arrange equipment logically (by type/size/condition), clear pathways, remove debris, and ensure proper spacing for easy access/viewing by sales team/customers.
- Inventory Audits:
Perform regular yard walks/audits to verify equipment locations to match records, flag misplaced items, and report any damage or issues to the Manager.
- Inventory Management:
Assist with basic inventory movements (e.g., repositioning equipment for photos, cleaning, or sales prep, loading and unloading equipment)
- Basic Inventory Maintenance:
Perform basic mechanical functions of greasing, changing fluids & filters. As well as Pressure washing, grinding, painting equipment.
- Software Usage:
Update inventory records/system with photos, s, and location notes for accurate, real-time visibility.
- Proven experience in inventory tracking.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with an instinct for organization and cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of equipment or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace software.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
