DC Clerk

The DC Clerk is responsible for data entry and clerical activities in the department.
Responsibilities- Sort orders and product
- Accurately input data into computer system
- Reconcile transactions, BOL’s, and orders
- Create labels and place onto product
- Organize files and paperwork
- Receive, unpack, inspect and repackage merchandise
- Utilize pallet jacks to move full pallets into staging area
- Direct workflow to complete daily objectives
- Communicate with other departments and suppliers regarding returns and shipments
- Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school education equivalent to four years of high school
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Manufacturing Plant
- Standing for long periods of time
- Repetitive motion
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
- Able to work in various temperature conditions
- Operation of motorized and manual pallet jack
- May be in a general office environment
- Stand – continuously, general warehouse environment
- Walk – frequently to walk between stations
- Bend/Twist – frequently at pick location
- Push / Pull – frequently to move product and boxes
- Climb (stairs, ladders) – occasionally to access upper level of facility
- Reach – frequently to reach product in bin/racks
- Lift – frequently to move product
- Carry – frequently to carry product
- Grasp/Grip – frequently to hold product
- Repetitive Motions – continuously to pick up and remove product
- Kneel/Crawl – rarely
- Run – rarely
- Jump – rarely
- Rapid work speed – frequently to meet production needs
- Filing – frequently, finger movement
- Computer use – continuously, moving product, keyboard use – frequently
- Close vision – continuously to read product labels and numbers
- Color vision – infrequently
- Depth perception – infrequently while operating equipment
- Far vision – infrequently while operating equipment and identifying product
- Hear – continuously to communicate with individuals in cell
- Talk – continuously to communicate with individuals in cell
