EC&I Technician
Permanent, Full Time
Finnart; occasional UK travel and overnight stays
- Do you have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent?
- Do you have electrical maintenance experience across motors, switch gear and MCC/control panels?
- Would you be comfortable working in a COMAH / hazardous environment?

- Permanent role within critical UK defence infrastructure
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across critical site infrastructure
- Maintaining electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, switch gear, MCCs and control panels
- Supporting control systems and instrumentation maintenance
- Fault finding, repairs and rectification
- Completing inspections and maintenance records
- Supporting site operations and occasional UK travel
- Working safely in line with legislation and site procedures
- Supervising other operatives where required
You'll be joining an organisation operating and maintaining critical oil and fuel infrastructure supporting UK defence operations. The site is highly regulated, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and environmental standards.
What will you need?- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship electrical experience
- Electrical maintenance experience, including motors, switch gear and MCC/control panels
- 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight
- Hazardous / COMAH experience desirable
- Comp Ex EX01-EX04 desirable
- Instrumentation experience advantageous; training provided
- Medically fit for breathing apparatus and confined space training
- Full colour vision required
