Senior Project Manager

Our client, a major player in the data centre industry, is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects. In this role, you will oversee complex infrastructure developments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in data centre construction and programme management will be vital to support our client's ambition of building scalable, ultra-efficient facilities for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end management of hyperscale data centre projects, coordinating design, construction, and commissioning phases
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
Manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards across all project activities
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment
Track project milestones and prepare progress reports for senior leadership
Support business development by providing technical expertise and project insights as needed

Job Requirements:

Significant experience managing data centre or critical infrastructure projects, with a focus on hyperscale facilities
Strong understanding of data centre design, construction processes, and technical requirements
Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple contractors

Experience with project management software and tools relevant to the data centre sector
Understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality assurance processes
