EYFS Early Years Practitioner - Primary School in Helston
Start Date: 1st February 2026
Contract Type: Ongoing supply (via Teaching Personnel)
Pay: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Working Pattern: Flexible - full-time and part-time opportunities available

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Helston to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Early Years Practitioner
. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in the earliest stages of their education within a nurturing and engaging environment.

A Level 3 Early Years qualification is highly desirable, and the school is keen to welcome practitioners who are confident supporting learning through play and early development frameworks.

• Supporting children within EYFS (Nursery and Reception)
• Delivering age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework
• Supporting children's social, emotional and developmental needs
• Working closely with class teachers and EYFS staff
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Observing and contributing to children's progress and development

Level 3 Early Years qualification (highly desirable)
✔ Experience working within EYFS settings
✔ A warm, patient and child‑centred approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Flexible availability to support school needs
✔ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
