Green Gen is seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial properties in North Cornwall and Devon. You will diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring all work meets local regulations and high-quality standards. Strong customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and industry regulations.
• Understand customer needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Carry out regular scheduled maintenance tasks on heating and plumbing systems.
• Respond to and resolve reactive faults and maintenance work.
• Safely remove existing heating systems, including combination and system boilers.
• Install unvented hot water cylinders in compliance with safety standards.
• Install Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pump systems efficiently.
• Install and configure S & Y Plan heating controls for optimized system performance.
• Upgrade and install radiator systems in domestic properties.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of all work to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of proven experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proactive and professional approach to work.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Initial Call:
  Introductory call with Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 mins).
• Skills-Based/Final Interview:
  Detailed discussion about past experiences with Installer Managers (1 hr).

• Guaranteed Hours & Overtime:
  Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime available at enhanced rates.
