We have an exciting opportunity to work for a local council authority, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £22 per hour to £33 per hour depending on shifts. The role of HGV Mechanic is based in Hemel Hempstead.

Shift Schedule

08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00-15:30 Friday
37 hours in total

Pay

From £22 per hour Monday to Friday
£33 per hour Saturday
Paid weekly

Main Duties

Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
Routine maintenance
Fault diagnostics
Comply with health and safety regulations and manufacturer standards
Accurate record keeping

Requirements

Proven experience in HGV repair and maintenance
HGV 2 license is highly desirable
Great attention to detail
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience
